Based on Puccini's La Bohème, Rent is a story of love and loyalty among artists in New York's East Village. Although the film’s story is clearly around HIV/Aids, there is no gloom and doom, and speechless families, but rather about sticking together through ups and downs, through laughter and death. Rent is about life, and finding your own way of happiness, even if it is just for a short while.

This is soap and you have to watch it as such! It is about the love life, affairs, one-night stands, problems, issues, jalousies, role plays, jobs, finances, friendships, families, children and events of a group of tight knit friends in modern day California.

Dante’s Cove is mythical horror soap full of witchcraft and unexplained phenomena. The main story revolves around the couple Kevin and Toby (where Kevin is a terrible actor), and takes place in and around the haunted Hotel Dante. The episodes feature a large variety of subjects – it is a soap but somewhat fascinating and worth watching.

The lair is also a soap and features a private gay club that is run by vampires. It shows plenty of hard bodies, sex scenes and flesh, but also blood, intrigue and manipulation. Not too bad for a soap!
