I was drawn to it because I loved Dracula when I was in high school. This was even better because the heroine is a teenager battling vampires who are after her blood while she finds romance with a vampire who can't resist her. Unbelievable details!

This is my absolutely favorite book because it's funny, sad, full of mystery and a big surprise at every corner and particularly at the end. I cried my eyes out.

I only pick this one because it's a love story. I've read all of Agatha Christie's novels more than once as a teen. I don't know how many readers are patient enough to guess, to dissimilate clues, to appreciate setting, but I certainly did on all almost 100 of her books.

I'm reading this right now, but I know I love a book when I find myself skipping what I planned to do just to read more. This writer really has voice,knows New England, and understands teens.

You have to read the sequel! It has werewolves!

I loved this book so much, it was crazy that reading it was homework. A wonderfully revealing look at a family hiding during the Holocaust.

A teen is raped and murdered and the rest of the tale is told by her ghost.

An orphaned woman comes to live with her sister and learns the brother in law is a murderer who with his nasty crew wrecks incoming ships,attacks the drowning victims, and robs them.

This and Anne of Avonlea are fantastic movies for the whole family full of fun, heartache, magic and love.

If you like Pride and Prejudice, you'll love this as well. The girls learn important lessons about true love.
