This book scared me!

I love this book because when I read it to my classes everyone has something they just HAVE to say.

What a tragedy! What an amazing outlook on life near the end!

Sometimes the one you save is the one who saves you.

This one broke my heart!

Chris, who NEVER read a book in his life, read this one in two weeks and wanted to talk about it.

I read this one first in the series, and I got so angry a Gerald's "parents" that I gripped the book tight enough to turn my knuckles white and make them ache when I finished.

This story is both funny and heart wrenching. I couldn't put it down.

I only got through the first book by knowing that Dave got rescued. Then I had to know if he turned out okay and if somebody loved him.

I thought this one was fun, and what a great way to give kids a preview of Shakespeare.

These books went around my classroom like wildfire. The kids kept reading them hidden under desks, and then whispering about them. I finally asked what they were reading, and I liked them too.

This book is powerful

This is like a cross between Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. My boys love it and so do my students who like Sci-Fi.

These are a fun look at the depravity in Hollywood, and the teens who have more money than anyone knows what to do with.

This whole series is just fun. I like when her three year old sister calls the neighbor an ***hole because she thinks its a title like Sir.

My boys love Walter Dean Myers!

The books were even better than the movies. Very real. Bee made me cry, as did Carmen and her dad.

While this is not easy reading for anyone, the books and the movies are both wonderful.

The four books in this series made me cry so many times, and when I did a book talk on this series I had a line of kids at my desk asking to borrow all of these books.
