The end of this movie used to scare the wits out of me. The only other film that scared me as much was Labyrinth. I endured years and years of my mom's "Murder She Wrote" addiction, only bearable because of my love of Angela Lansbury from this movie and "Long Hot Summer."

This is not even one of my favs, but I watched it so much it should be.

Weird tidbit, my grandmother was on the show "What's My Line?" with Phil Silvers as the guest star. Nobody could guess that she was a IRS agent so she won. She saw herself about 40 years later while watching reruns on the Game Show network and called in. They sent her a free tape and we got a copy as well.

Wow, I think I have seen all of the Charlie Brown cartoons. Not in the last 28 years of my life -- oh, no. Within the last year and a half of my son's existence. There was a period where the only way we could get him to eat was if Charlie Brown was on.

I don't know if this a very appropriate children's movie -- I just know I watched it a lot. I don't remember much, except for Gene Wilder. I saw that Noah Baumbach is going to do a version and I can't wait! I saw the cartoon a couple times, but I remember really liking the movie.

Now, I know there are some inappropriate scenes in this, but my parent's let me watch movies like Die Hard and Alien, so I doubt this would have ruffled their feathers. We would watch the movie and then play the game while drinking cherry pepsi and eating Pizza Hut pizza. I think everybody needs nights like that.
