Maybe Anna Karina's greatest role. Impossible to forget.

One of Godard's most memorable classics, and a must-see preformance by Anna. The dancing scene is one of my favorite sequences in cinema ever!

This early piece by Godard as actualy one really good movie (I think it's his second, and the first one with Anna). Godard's celebrated semi-joke "cinema is 24 times the truth per second" comes from here.

Excellent although less popular movie with an excellent cast. Liv is particularly stunning here, and YES, you will see her breasts for a sec or two.

One of Liv's best roles. The interplay between her and Ingrid bergman is a true miracle. A must-see.

Here the most inspired acting may come from the mighty Max von Sidow, but Liv, cast as his wife, is in excellent form too. This is one of the movies that turned me into a Bergman buff, and one of the few movies this guy shot that comes close to the strange magic of Persona.

Margit Carstensen and Hanna Schygulla. One of my top ten movies ever.

Renais' masterpiece is also a great place to start apreciating the magic of Delphine Seyrig, one of France's best-loved actresses.

Simone Signoret and Vera clouzot are amazing in this masterly crafted thriller by Vera's Husband.

Let us not forget the magic of Ingrid Thullin. Too bad I coudn't find The rite on Amazon, one of Bergman's best movies and probably her best role.

There's a short story by Julio Cortazar called "We loved Glenda so much". This is the Glenda he was talking about, and she is exactly as wonderfull as one can picture her while reading the argentinian master.

Very weird/avant-garde movie. An experimentation with cinema, theatre and history that features in the supporting role of a young crazy woman the magnificent Glenda.

As a bonus: a feast of bergmanian actresses (though this is hardly one of Bergman's best pictures). Bibi and Harriet Andersson are absolutely gorgeous here.
