Not just dwarfs playing the main characters but some of the main characters are dwarfs. Could it get luckier than this?

On the set of the final scene of the movie, director Michael Curtiz noticed that the wooden cut-out of the airplanes looked fake. Apparently, he said something to the effect of "get me some midgets" (being politically correct was not necessary in the early 40's) and had them act like mechanics around the cut-out plane. It makes the scene work, and the rest is history.

Unfortunately, Mini-Me is not in the first film. Fortunately, he's in the third film since he's about the only funny part of it (did anyone actually find the Goldmember character funny?).

I don't know if this counts since no actual dwarfs were used (or harmed) in the making of this movie, but I think it belongs on the list for simply having the word dwarf in the title.

A great role both for Clint and for the little person he makes the mayor of Lago.

Are there actually four different movies here? I thought I just saw the same movie four times. Anyway, they're packed full of little people and they keep the kiddies entertained.
