BEST JAMES BOND FILMS EVER: My Personal Ranking List
By an Amazon.com customer
ThunderballThunderball
Buy new: $11.49 / Used from: $4.50
Most prefere Goldfinger... For me, since my childhood, Thunderball is MY quintessential 007 movie. I just cannot forget those underwater images, the pre-tittles sequence, the Tom Jones' song, the complete soundtrack (I recommend it for car traveling)... Also here comes SPECTRE into a World Domination plot!(It's needed to say TB was my first Fleming book... perhaps is the real reason...)
You Only Live TwiceYou Only Live Twice
Buy used from: $5.29
The tittle, Japan and the enviroment, the music... Blofed performed by Donald Pleasence... With so little extracted from the book, but a real spy + adventure movie. All 60's mistery and style.
GoldfingerGoldfinger
Buy new: $14.98 / Used from: $5.27
The definitive James Bond 007. The Aston Martin and the gold paint. Nothing to add.
Live and Let DieLive and Let Die
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $4.98
I remember the movie theater in my town. The official poster, the McCartney tittle song, the expresso machine at Bond's flat.. Roger appeared like a real 007 in style and charm.
On Her Majesty's Secret ServiceOn Her Majesty's Secret Service
Buy used from: $6.94
Diana Rigg. A superb plot loyal to the original book. Also George did not look so bad... But... he did insist in talking aloud...
Diamonds are ForeverDiamonds are Forever
Buy used from: $5.99
Sir Sean is back. Fat, incredible old, out of style and pretty close to cross the line between pop and ridicuolos... but, the magic recipe is still there. Was the beginning of the comedian-parody Bond stage... Hovewer is a classic.
Casino Royale (2-Disc Widescreen Edition)Casino Royale (2-Disc Widescreen Edition)
Buy new: $5.49 / Used from: $2.13
Have you read the book? Nice little gems from that one. Rough and focused Bond. Just amazing how the writers and director could translate the Casino sequences into the screen. Terrific rithm, and still avoiding an action movie hero extra-dossis... Close but far from Bourne-ish Quantum of Solace.
Licence To KillLicence To Kill
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $2.99
Like old Raymond Benson says: Read Live and Let Die. Rather inspired by those Fleming's plots. Pure Bond. Instead of Timothy Dalton...
GoldenEyeGoldenEye
Buy new: $10.49 / Used from: $4.94
Brosnam first try: A good one. Smart re-introduction of the caracter. Queen Judy at her best. Brosnam really worked and made us believe 007 is in action again.
For Your Eyes OnlyFor Your Eyes Only
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $2.25
The Girl, the song and the official poster (yes, those legs). Roger acted as Roger, but for us he was 007 at that time.
Dr. NoDr. No
Buy new: $11.49 / Used from: $3.21
The first one. A milestone. Just see how Connery says: Bond, James Bond.
The Man With The Golden Gun - 2-Disc Ultimate EditionThe Man With The Golden Gun - 2-Disc Ultimate Edition

OK, it is NOT my #12 choice, but Maria Eugenia Gambande has enjoyed this movie in her summer residence this season ands she is planning moving to Thailand soon.
