Yeah, it was made in the days of censorship, but there's nothing that they could have put in this film that they'd've needed to take out. It's an adrenaline rush of emotion, and although perhaps a bit "cynical" in its portrayal of jurors, it doesn't focus on the bad guys in such a manner that makes censorship "necessary".

Now THIS is a film I would not recommend children seeing. I don't remember any actual NUDITY in this film, but the suggestiveness combined with the subject matter make for a very shocking & disturbing, yet ultimately rewarding emotional experience. The ending is the best part(!!).

the absolute FUNNIEST satire, and probably one of the funniest comedies ever made. The dude's retarded yet all these rich people he ends up hanging around have no clue. Irony?

What the heck is this doing out of print? Perhaps TOO much of an "acquired taste" (in the words of a certain "hound"...). But actually, I started watching this 'cause it looked like it was gonna be some sort of "erotic" film, but somehow i was pulled into the film and was intrigued and compelled by it. Very nice surprise!

Probably one of the most underrated films; no, that is not a personal opinion, it's like what I was saying in the intro; people expect certain things from films and this film dares to confuse those people.

A fairly original film, with a good soundtrack, beautiful images of Neon nights in NYC circa "early 90's" at the dark of night, as well as plenty of various depictions of sadness and despair.

I swear; I've heard this compared to just about every genre of film that features a man & a woman; the "crazy lover" genre (i.e.: Fatal Attraction), the "rape-revenge" genre (i.e.: I Spit On Your Grave); what is it with people? THIS ISN'T A SEQUEL; quit comparing! Is a film not allowed to be original or what?
