This engrossing tale of revenge is smart, fun, witty, and exciting throughout. I read it in middle school, high school, and college and loved it every time. Best Quote: "Only a man who has felt ultimate despair is capable of feeling ultimate bliss."

Paradise Lost creates the most disarming image of Lucifer ever put to paper. I genuinely sympathize with his fate...powerful stuff Best Quote: "The mind is its own place, and in itself Can make a heav’n of hell, a hell of heav’n."

It's a little depressing that with the new fascination with vampires that Stoker's masterpiece has been (it seems) thrown to the wayside. While not for younger readers due to some pretty forward sexual innuendo, every adult should give this a shot. Best Quote: "No man knows till he has suffered from the night how sweet and dear to his heart and eye the morning can be."

Both of these stories ooze with horrific possibilities of a possible future. Wonderful to read, intense to think about, huge lasting final impressions. Best Quote: "Four legs good, two legs bad."
