Billy Jack is an interesting choice I guess for me. The story intertwines thru the whole series of films and has the whole hippies versus the establishment slant, but there is a message of the need for defending with force sometimes even the rights of pacifists. The producers may or may not have intended this, bu it is an interesting view point.

Great film. Depicts politicians and diplomats throwing American service men under the bus to save their own hides or appease foriegn governments. The story is strangely familiar, but supposedly ficticious. The real thing is continuing today with troops in the war in Iraq.

This is a fantasy film of the 'what if' genre. I love i because I am not a sci-fi fan, but the twist of history and the masterful arguements written into it are amazing. Their should be a director's cut released, because some missing scenes add to the movies intensity. The Nimitz goes back in time to December 6, 1941 and has to decide what to do about the Japanese approaching Pearl Harbor.
