The Magnificent Seven in space. If you watch sci-fi you will probably have seen some stock footage from this movie somewhere. It contains a huge amount of talent both infront of, and behind the scenes. George Peppard, Robert Vaughan, John Saxon all dominate the screen when James Cameron's starships and James Horner's soundtrack are not in sight.

So a group of friends got together, got really drunk and someone left the camera on. This movie is a lot of fun, simply because the actors appear to be having an awesome time doing what they are doing. This movie came out just before Lord of the Rings and many people went to see it to whet their appetite and to see the LOTR trailer, Dungeons and Dragons fans hate it, I love it.

Big scary Vikings looking like something out of a nightmare fight native Americans. What more do you need to know? Sometimes a movie just has to be made based on the concept, this is full of OTT violence and is a thrill ride from start to finish. It does exactly what it says on the label and would have made an awesome toy line.

Ray Harryhausen at his best, no one has done skeletons better.

DOug McClure and Peter Cushing take a mole machine to the center of the Earth where they rescue a gorgeous Caroline Munroe, fight monsters and rescue a sub-terra human race from domination from psychic flying dinosaurs. Great fun.
