The Holy Grail of 80s comedy. The only film with both Chevy and Bill. Weird characters, snooty villains, improvised wisecracking, pot-smoking and animatronic gophers.

The best and biggest 80s comedy. Flawless film. Harold Ramis (amazing writer, director and underrated actor), Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Rick Moranis, Sigourney Weaver and Ernie Hudson are a formidable ensemble cast. Great characterisation, superb script and expert direction.

Chevy's franchise always delivers. All 4 films are very funny. But the 1st and 3rd are legendary comedies in any American household. The series begin very, very dark and grows more family-friendly. Chevy gets to show his great acting skills, his amazing one-liners and physical comedy. REALLY, Chevy is one of the best physical comedians ever.

The best comedy of the 70s. Modern "Three Stooges" style anarchy and horseplay. John Belushi is the iconic "Bluto". Extremely tasteless in its day, now its pretty tame. But its still sharp, funny and a right of passage for the American male.

Chevy fans' favorite, but not mine. Still its 80s comedy at its greatest. Prepare yourself for about 900 one-liners and ridiculous alter egos. Also has Tim Matheson who played a role written for Chevy in "Animal House".

My favorite of the old masters. Also, check into Chaplin and Harold Lloyd.
