Spys, mysteries, neat gadgets, and lots and lots of action. The action starts right off and just keeps going till the end.

Now this is a horror. This book has a great story line and kept my interest. I was a little put off by the cover, but eventually got around to reading it and was glad that I did. I should warn you though, it is kind of gory at times. Seeing as the author goes into great detail of what a couple of people's bodies looked like after the demons were through with them. Yikes! A great story.

I picked this one up because it was written by Eoin Colfer, hoping that it would turn out to be just as good as Artemis Fowl. Although not quite as good, I still loved it. It is more for the younger audience but I read it anyway. I love a good detective story.

This was an ok tale about a boy who saves a fearie world. It was slow going and, I'll admit, I only read Henery's parts because I started getting bored halfway through it. The first book sets up everything for the next ones so, although this one was kinda boring, the next one was better.

This is a good story about a boy and a dragon who save the world. Yeah the same old same old, but this one is actually good. I would recommend it to you fantasy fans.

This is another one of my all time fvorite books ever made. I absolutely loved it! I highly recommend it.

Yes, I would say that this started of as a kind of copy cat of Harry Potter but I am pleased to say that it, slowly but surely, is getting out from under Harry's shadow and is creating an entertaining book series all on it's own. It's for the younger audience but I got desperate for something to read one day and picked this up.

You guessed it! This one is about four clans of warrior cats! I love cats so when my sister bought this I picked it up and read it. I would say that it is in the action category. A great read!

I don't think this is really a series but since it has two other follow-ups I decided to put it down anyway. This is a great story for all ages. I really liked it.

A book that takes place in now a days time and is completely non fictional except for one thing...the kids have wings and are destined to save the world. They just havn't figured out how yet. Another good book series. I originally put this one in this list before I had finished the series, but now that I have i'm not so sure that I would recomend it anymore. The last book was terrible.

I just started getting into this series. I read the first and, although it was a little different, I liked it. After I went and read the next which turned out to be even better then the first. Can't wait till the third one comes out.

This isn't a series but it has a sequel (Skybreaker) and both are very good. It takes place in its own time. Sorta a mix between the victorian age and now-a-days. For instance. The rich women still wear corsets but everyone gets around on air ships. It is a really interesting and (at times) hilarious book.

This is not a series nor (sadly) does it have a sequel. I put it on my list because it is such a good book. I love Hilari Bell's style of writting and her characters are always very likable. If your looking for a good short book to read then you should read her books.

I almost forgot this one. I actually checked this one out at the library, started reading it, then got bored and put it down. Later, I picked it up again and got past the begining. From then on I was hooked. Can't wait for the sequel! I really like this series.

Now that I am 17 I have been looking for more challanging books to read and so have been looking in the adult section. I was looking for a good read that didn't contain any content that I would rather be on the other side of a closed door for. I think I found a winner in this book series about a elf who's race is evil though he is not.

Although there is a series, this is also a stand alone book and one that I enjoyed reading. It adds non-stop action with an intersting mystery and creates a great book.

I thought that this was an interesting book, though I wouldn't rate it high on my favorites list. I picked it up when I didn't have anything else to read. Interesting though. If you find yourself in want of a book to read than I would recommend this.

The idea for this book was great. I havn't read it in a while but I seem to recall that it was pretty fast paced. I also rememver liking it a lot. I'm on the third one right now.
