If you could own only one Beatles album, pick this one. This is a fantastic mish-mash of soft ballads, kooky hints of insanity and flat-out great music. They were truly ahead of their time. "Helter Skelter", "Back in the USSR", "Why Don't We Do It In The Road"

With the small exception of "Physical Graffiti" or "In Through the Out Door", this is probably Led Zeppelin's best work. "Stairway to Heaven", "Misty Mountain Hop", "The Battle of Evermore"

Fantastic album from the psychedelic period. "Somebody To Love", "White Rabbit"

The Killers brought down the house with their 2004 debut CD "Hot Fuss"...be sure to get the Limited Edition, as it has three additional songs that are not on the original album version. "Under the Gun", "Somebody Told Me", "Mr. Brightside"

Easily the best album by Green Day. "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", "Holiday", "St. Jimmy"

Queen's tour de force concept album. "Bohemian Rhapsody", "You're My Best Friend", "I'm in Love With My Car".

Since there is no single Janis Joplin album which I will recommend, as all of her work was equally great, then the entire collection must be purchased as a whole. This contains all four of her studio albums..."Pearl", "Cheap Thrills", "Big Brother and the Holding Company" and "I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again, Mama", plus lots of rare and live tracks.

George Harrison's debut solo album, and a great one too. "All Things Must Pass", "What is Life", "My Sweet Lord"

This album was a big hit when it came out in 2002, and with good reason. With their mix of funk, rock and soul, "Songs About Jane" also became a favorite breakup album for anybody who's ever lost or left someone. Also be sure to check out Maroon 5's new album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long", which was released on May 22nd, 2007.
