![]() | Death Takes a Holiday (1934) [VHS]
Buy used from: $5.99 "Death Takes a Holiday" is another of my favorite films. It stars Fredric March, who is another of my favorite actors and the only one in my opinion who can play the Grim Reaper so convincingly. Is coupled with the remake "Meet Joe Black," on another DVD, but should have it's own release.

|
![]() | The African Queen
Excellent film with two Hollywood greats, Bogart and Kate Hepburn! Has been tied up in legal issues for quite some time, which has prevented this film from coming out to DVD sooner. Won Bogie the Best Actor Oscar in 1951.

![]() | Night Must Fall (1937) [VHS]
Buy used from: $29.95 Excellent film with Robert Montgomery playing a killer and Rosalind Russell who catches on to his game. This was a departure for Montgomery, who fought with MGM for this role. Was nominated for Best Actor in 1937, with stiff competition from Fredric March (A Star is Born) and Spencer Tracy (Captains Courageous). Tracy took home the Oscar.

![]() | Boomerang (Fox Film Noir)
Buy used from: $12.99 I was excited to see this film getting released, but legal issues pulled the film from shelves. Would love to see the rights issues worked out and the film released. As of 9-6-07, the film is slated to be released again later on in the fall, which is also great news!!!

![]() | A Star Is Born
Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $1.99 The original, if not the definitive version of "A Star is Born." Fredric March gives one of his most famous performances as Norman Maine, the matinee idol whose star descends as his wife, played by Janet Gaynor rises. March was Oscar nominated for the role, but lost to Spencer Tracy for Captains Courageous.

Buy used from: $6.20 Great espionage film starring Ray Milland and Marjorie Reynolds. The film is directed by Fritz Lang, who also directed "Metropolis" and "M". It would be great to see in a Ray Milland Collection, if Universal ever decides to do one for this great actor, whom has seemed to been forgotten. Here's hoping.
|

Buy used from: $12.00 Great film with Fredric March and Veronica Lake. Lake is a witch burned at the stake who curses March and his subsequent decendants to unhappy marriages.
