	The Culpepper Cattle Co. Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $8.54 Oustanding effort, especially for the early 70's. Well done.
	McCabe & Mrs. Miller Buy new: $5.79 / Used from: $5.78 Dark and gloomy even in all the snow. This is closer to what the West looked like than the majority of movies.
	True Grit (Special Collector's Edition) Buy new: $10.49 / Used from: $7.19 Clothing is comparable to most Westerns--terrible. But the dialogue is the most period correct ever penned. Listen to the pace and style of talking in this movie. You won't get a better example of 19th Century speech than this.
	The White Buffalo [Region 2] Buy used from: $99.99 Why isn't this movie on Region 1 DVD? Aside from the dreadful cavalry uniforms in one scene, the rest of the wardrobe and production design are wonderful. Excellent dialogue as well. Love this movie.
	Lonesome Dove Buy new: $15.49 / Used from: $10.98 Wardrobe and production design are excellent. LD raised the bar on the genre. Pity so few filmakers noticed.
	Tom Horn Buy new: $5.79 / Used from: $6.79 An A for effort. Strong attempt to capture this turn of the century tragedy. I saw this at a drive-in when it came out.
	The Grey Fox [VHS] Buy used from: $15.77 There should be a special place in the afterlife for executives who prevent great movies like this from being on DVD. What a great movie with a great look. End of the West theme does not get tired here.
	The Missouri Breaks Buy new: $11.49 / Used from: $3.04 A bit much for some, but the overall look and production design was a noble attempt for the time.
	Shane Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $3.94 Not only a great Western for its story and acting, the production design and wardrobe were years ahead of the genre. Muddy streets and all. Fantastic.
