As with the other Peng. Class. editions, this edition, larger and more easily held in one's hands than my other (smaller) PClass. copy, was consistently thorough and I especially appreciated all the endnotes contained in the back with brief explanations for the text.

This is a very good edition, but clean and to the point as far as layout and design. There are no illustrations or decoration.

I have not finished this yet, however am excited as it is the work on its own, rather than with Austen's other, less publicized works (Lady Susan, Love & Friendship, etc.). I am curious though, if this is Austen-only or "edited" (ie. finished) by another author, as the text is longer here than in the next book ("Lady Susan... Sanditon (Penguin Classics)").

My initial joy over this set was in the cover art -- the beautiful fabric-like prints. I've collected these three volumes without the 'box', yet each has a different but singularly beautiful cover just the same.
