One of my favorite French movies ever. This is not the edition to buy however. I could not seem to tag the correct one, but if you search for the Criterion Collection edition on Google, you'll find it.

This tale is about a boy maturing sexually. It explores the idea of incest without being disturbing whatsoever (in my view at least).

These two gems are magnificent. One epic story is told over a period of two films. Buy this DVD to have access to both and save money.

A love triangle is explored but not in the way you might think. It is dialogue-driven and if you like intelligent dramas, you'll enjoy this title.

An enjoyable flick that takes place in WWII, the characters are very enjoyable. A dramedy is what it really is.
The Chorus (Les Choristes)The Chorus (Les Choristes)

Children learn to sing from a gentle mentor. The idea of this movie has been done many times before, but watching this may make you forget or think less about it.

A very quirky film, Audrey Tautou shines. It's not one of my favorites, but you may enjoy it more than I did.
A Very Long EngagementA Very Long Engagement

A young woman tries to find her fiance, who went missing after a battle in WWI France. It's nice, but a bit lengthy for my taste.
