From the director of "Monster" comes a visually startling film that is beautiful to look at, though the ending is predictable rather than surprising (it has been done countless times before)... Still a good and entertaining watch, if only for the visuals alone.

A British production that focuses on a man who keeps on waking up at different locations around the world, not knowing whether they are actually happening or is just his imagination. It's low budget hurts the film, and the ending is again rather foreseeable (since again this has been down countless times) but it tries with great enthusiasm.

Robert Altman's surreal masterpiece. Creepy and Complex, the film is a tricky jigsaw puzzle. Shamefully unknown! This is indeed required viewing.

Director Anderson creates an incredibly creepy atmosphere through the usage of the asylum and there are several solid chills, though you may feel cheated by the ending but you will be surprised.

A dark film with equal parts horror and comedy... The film is rather conventional, I would even say rather silly and dumb... That is, until it takes a sharp turn in its final reels to pull the rug out from under you! Good because of the ending, which isn't really original, but is handled very well and executed effectively.

Poland's answer to "The Matrix" from the director of "Ghost in the Shell"! More philosophical than action-oriented, the film tackles some heady issues that will play with your mind.

The film starts off spectacularly, with a man lying "dead" only to be actually in a sort of trance and fully aware... and is waiting on the autopsy table! As he tries to remember how he got there, the film is hurt from here on by a rather dull midsection, but it is happily revved up again with a knock-you-socks-off surprise ending.

A surreal comedy-drama with striking visuals... The film does suffer from a slow pace and meandering quality, but it is unpredictable and quirky.

A Polish film that is best described in the manner Variety describes it: "An homage to Roman Polanski with nods to David Lynch." Beautiful look at, though the ending is rather typical for this genre... Still, expertly crafted and recommended.
