Checco Dal Monte falls in love with her and decides to leave the company in order to create a new show with Lily getting top billing. First effort of the Italian master. Highly recommended. **** 1972. Written and directed by Perry Henzell. Ivanhoe "Ivan" Martin comes to town with a dream : to record the song he wrote. But, a few months later, after having been deceived by a producer, he decides to become an outlaw in order to gain public reconnaissance. A little jewel of the 70's. Highly recommended. **** 1973. Written and directed by Brian de Palma. Danielle and Dominique Breton were Siamese twins before being surgically separated. A few monts later, Danielle murders a man in her apartment without noticing that her neighbour Grace Collier saw him dying from her window. Excellent thriller with lots of references to Alfred Hitchcock. Highly recommended. Criterion collection spine #89.

*1/2 1958. Directed by Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. An alien creature is dissolving anyone coming its way. Steve McQueen and the local police will have a hard time finding how to get rid of the monster. It's cult say some critics. Not for me. Inadvisable. Criterion collection spine #91.

Henry Fonda, a wealthy heir, is seduced by Barbara Stanwyck on his way home to Connecticut. When Fonda learns that she's in fact a crook, he leaves her. She will bite back. Masterpiece.
