"Come aboard, we're expecting you..." Indeed, I waited a few years for the day for this show to become available. I know a lot have griped about it being truncated into two volumes, and I understand their pain. But if any show is worth the truncating, LOVE BOAT is surely one of them.

This was pure schtickdiction. What a hoot to see a pre-stardom Tom Hanks yuk it up as a cross-dresser. I remember this one as a kid, and I near cried when I found out it wasn't coming back for a third season.

Fonzie...iconic. HAPPY DAYS brings back so many memories...all good. Well, except for Ted McGinley.

Bummer that some of the original songs aren't part of this set - due to licensing issues (a factor holding up another fave of mine: THE WONDER YEARS). Loni is awesome as the anti-bimbo...and Gary Sandy is awesome in his tight jeans.

For a while there I didn't think Season Two was going to come out. Now my dreams of seeing little Joey Lawrence as Joey are that much closer to becoming a reality. WHOA!

Some of the best FANTASY episodes aired in season 2 and 3...but SONY hasn't released anything after season 1 yet. Let's hope they do soon..i would love to complete my LOVE BOAT/FANTASY ISLAND collection ASAP. Even throw in HOTEL, FINDER OF LOST LOVES and GLITTER and I will be -as sung in RENT- "over the moon!"

"What you talkin about, there being no season 3 yet?" Grrrrr.

Every kid needed SILVER SPOONS to dream about life would be like if you had all the money in the world to buy trains like the one in this show: it took you throughout the set. LOOOOOVED IT!

No doubt about it...this show was an immediate classic. Well, actually, it ranked in the bottom five its first season on the air. Thank goodness NBC had the insight to keep it on the air until it finally clicked with audiences.

In college after I came out of the closet I found out other gay friends of mine were huge fans of THE GOLDEN GIRLS, too. So I guess I should have known at the time the show aired that I was special. The one negative I associate to GOLDEN GIRLS is that it helped crush and cancel LOVE BOAT.

I don't care what people say..PUNKY was great fun. Remember that dog show HERES BOOMER? It aired along with PUNKY for a season, and then POOF, it was gone.

I had a wicked mad crush on Tim Daly. When the show was canceled I was bummed that i would never see him again. Boy was i wrong...PRIVATE PRACTICE, look out!

Anyone remember Molly Ringwald from the first season? Think she would have still found Brat Pack fame on Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink if she hadnt been axed from FACTS? Look for future Oscar winner George Clooney once the show goes OVER OUR HEADS.

Oh, the horror! This show was ahead of its time..literally. Only a handful of episodes ever aired. Yet a few years THE NAKED GUN brought the show out of oblivion and into the pop culture world. As a result of an early cancellation we were surely robbed of any further stories the series would have given us. (oh, and don't call me Shirley)

I was in high school when this show premiered, so of course I loved it!
