Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $5.71 Even if you've never heard Rammstein, this concert is a great place to start. Yes, it's in German but it totally rocks in any language. Great 5.1 sound and decently filmed before a rabid stadium crowd in Berlin. Great metal guitar sound and a totally kicking set. The only critism is that the subtitles are in German (even that's kind of cool). If you already dig Rammstein, it's a must have!

Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $10.63 Madonna is generally awesome. I selected this DVD for it's excellent performance, awesome sound and superb cinematography. Covers her hits as well as a lot of material form "Ray of Light" all of which is exceptional. Madonna's stage performance, sets, costumes and dancers provide a visual and sonic treat.

Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $5.81 An older Peter Gabriel playing theatre in the round in Italy. Great sound quality and filming. The band includes Tony Levin on bass and Gabriel's daughter. Gabriel is the consumate showman and the concert provides "behind the scene" glimpses.

Buy new: $11.49 / Used from: $6.89 OK. I'm a major Yes fan. I've already reviewed "Song from Tsongas" and "House of Yes" so I won't include those (feel free to look them up, for those of you hungry for more Yes reviews). This is one of the better from an audio/visual perspective and includes the prime line up (Anderson, Howe, Wakeman, Squire and White). They are a great band and this was a great show.

Buy used from: $11.23 Read a few negative reviews of the audio and vocals and almost didn't buy this one. It kicks. I don't get the comments about the sound because on my mid line home theatre it kicks. I'm sure the neighbors hate this one most of all. The Crue play it all and have fun while doing it. Great audience. Love it.

Buy used from: $58.85 I love Pavorotti and these concerts are highly entertaining. Great to see him playing with Bono, The Edge, Sting and seeing some artists rip out their opera chops. Was particularly suprised by Michal Bolton and Sheryl Crow. It's got filler but well worth picking up a used copy.

Buy new: $15.49 / Used from: $7.87 Great concert, great sound, ADD editing. If you can get past the 5 second edits (Which I hate) it's pretty good. Filmed in Rio before an adoring crowd, it's totally insane. They sing the guitar parts!! Be forewarned about the editing because it's highly annoying, but Maiden gives an awesome performance.

It actually holds it own against some contemporary recordings. If you love Zep, order this immediately. If you already own it, buy it again in case something happens to the first one. Contains numerous concerts and awesome live renditions of their ground breaking music.

Buy new: $15.99 / Used from: $7.79 As expected, here's another Yes performance. The only downside is that Wakeman wasn't there. Anyway, Yes, Orchestra, filed in Amsterdam. This has to be the best audio on a Yes concert DVD (though "House of Yes" comes close). One of my favorites.

I'm not big on country, but that's how they came to my attention. This disk has some great performances and they have a superb back-up band. Great sonics and visuals. Filmed before their fans turned completely rabid on them.

This disk was being used to demo sound systems in Brandsmart, so that will give you an idea of the kind of audio treasure it is. Great performances, well filmed, one great song after another.
