Curiousities read by the author. Australian curiousities. If you've been to Australia you'll laugh out loud, if you haven't you'll be purchasing a ticket to go. Sigma Force Series. Rollins mixes in the action with the descendants of Heinrich Himmler, quantum mechanics, theories of evolution and intelligent design, and in includes a dash of spirituality for a wildly fun read.

Rollins is Michael Crichton and Clive Cussler on steroids. This book is an underground Jurassic Park with tons of action and adventure. Other must read Rollins sci-fi adventures include Excavation, Amazonia, Deep Fathom, Ice Hunt and Sandstorm.

Dirk Pitt Series. Starting from a historical event and then weaving it into a modern day "Sci-thriller" adventure. Read them all... Elvis Cole Series. Elvis Cole investigator to the Hollywood stars and his protective, enigmatic sidekick Joe Pike. Requiem, The Last Detective, The Forgotten Man, The Watchman and Chasing Darkness.

Not an Elvis Cole book but a page turner. Two minute rule refers to the maximum time allowable for a successful bank heist. Other good books by Crais- Hostage and Demolition Angel.

Not a Camel Club book... but the plot still revolves around searching for the truth. How far can the news be spun to create the need for an arms race. Intriguing premise and an even better read.

Harry Bosch Series. Harry Bosch LA Detective and the case of serial killer stopped for a routine traffic violation that has a van full of body parts.

Lincoln Rhyme Series. Deaver explores the business of data mining and how it can be used to stage crimes and get away with murder. Read all in series... Bone Collector, Coffin Dancer, Empty Chair, Stone Monkey, Vanished Man, Twelfth Card, Cold Moon, and Broken Window.

Alex Cross Detective Series. Alex tries to apprehend two serial killers who are working on opposite coasts that just might be working together.

Mitch Rapp Series. Sets the stage for this CIA assassin/ counter terrorist operative. Listen to them in order: Term Limits, Transfer of Power, Third Option, Separation of Power, Executive Power, Memorial Day, Consent to Kill, Act of Treason, Protect and Defend, and Extreme Measures.

Mitch Rapp Series. CIA assassin is placed on a hit list and must kill or be killed.

Jack Reacher Series. Drifter investigator caught up in his ex-CO's entanglements of locating a Vietnam veteran.

Legal thrillers... Grisham's first and best. Early work is better than later work... Time to Kill, The Firm, Pelican Brief, Client, Chamber, Rain Maker, Runaway Juror, Partner, Street Lawyer, Testament, Brethren, Summons, King of Torts, Last Juror, Broker, Appeal and the Associate.

Similar to Sheldon's Master of the Game... this too being a generational period story. A couple of stories all interesting in their own right that masterfully get interwoven and come together in the end.

Jack Ryan Series. Great LONG books. Jack Ryan as Commander and Chief. The action is great, multiple plots- suggest audio book from library and lots of time. Read all in series... Patriot Games, Hunt for Red October, The Cardinal of the Kremlin, Clear & Present Danger, The Sum Of All Fears, Debt of Honor, Executive Orders, The Bear and the Dragon, Without Remorse.

Non-Science Fiction. 12 year old boy in 1928 discovers he is alive (Bradbury retrospective of his childhood). Gotta be in the right mood- it takes you back to your own childhood when you made your own fun by playing with your neighborhood friends in the creeks by day and under the street lights at night (playing games like bloody murder, hot box, etc).
