My all time favorite movie ever. Merian C Coopers wonderous masterpiece set the gold standard for action adventure and special effects driven films. I loved this as a kid and still love it today. Amazing. The '70s remake is terrible and the Peter Jackson remake is good, but a different film than the faster paced and superior original.

The best Film Noir ever made by one of the best film makers to have ever lived. Welles is most famous for Citizen Cane which tops almost every critic's list as best films ever made but I think A Touch of Evil is his real masterpiece. It has the same gorgeous cinematography as Cane, but has a much more engaging plot. Check this one out!

I love cop films so naturally, I love gangster films. As epic as the Godfather movies are and as grounbreaking as the James Cagney movies were, Goodfellas is just as powerful and the most fun.

This movie is one of my personal favorites. It might not be in a lot of peoples Top 10, but I love Luc Besson's tale of violence discovering love and innocence. His previous work with La Femme Nikita should not be missed either but for me, this is his best.

'Today Europe, tomorrow the world!' Suspense and Intrigue is what this movie is all about when a Nazi submarine crashes off the Canadian coast and a handful of crew members escape into Canada and try to make their way to America. Some incredibly disturbing moments in this film that have nothing to do with shock value. It is just incredibly written, directed, acted and is my favorite WWII movie.
