The movie ends as though the director suddenly decided, "Okay, let's end it now. It's been a couple of hours". But it's Sinatra's definitive role. His scenes with Ethel Barrymore are especially memorable.

A classic political thriller which was only allowed to be released on video a few years ago, because of some political concerns of relevance to the JFK assassination.

A three-star Sinatra film in which he plays a singer and in which a number of good Sinatra musical numbers are recorded. Pretty good drama.

Not a bad drama with Frank, Dean Martin and the female of the Rat Pack, Shirley MacLaine.

The song 'High Hopes', a hit for Frank, won the Oscar as 'Best Song'.

I know Frank got an acting Oscar nom for this, but I don't know how anyone can watch movies about alcoholism or drug addiction. They are such a one-note-samba, totally predictable and BORING. Nothing to engage the brain at all.

Sinatra's last dramatic role, as a detective.

Of the three films in which Sinatra played detective Tony Rome, this won was the most favored. I don't remember much of any of them, to tell you the truth.
