What seems to be a simple science fiction story on the surface quickly becomes social commentary, but not without a sense of humor. Look for Sayles as the taller of the two Men in Black.

American women wait to adopt babies in an unnamed Central American country. Its not one of his best films, but it does have one of his best scenes.
