Very good movie on both the Vietnam War AND A-6A/B Intruder operations, very seldom seen on screen. Ugly, frog-like look for an aircraft, but real good at work...

Unmatchable personal account of the French pilot Ace of WWII. Vivid descriptions of real A2A combat against the Luftwaffe, with loads of descriptions of the Spitfire, the Tempest or such exotic aircraft as the Do-335 Pfeil. A punchy testimony on courage too. A must read for any non-fiction WWII aviation fan.

Very entertaining book on aerial counter-smuggling tactics. Got me real convinced on the values of the OV-22 Osprey as a powerful, flexible, deadly air to ground support asset, even though it was years away from being fielded into real operations by then.

A classic among classics of air to air combat. Beautiful usage of real Spits, Hurricanes, Me-108. When the movie was actually shot, it was still possible to use the real stuff and not, like in the dreadful Pearl Harbor, CGI modeling...

A bit light on aircraft, this one does feature an EA-3 Skywarrior, which is rare enough to be noticed, as well as an O-1 Bird Dog. Many good ground actions too.

With the Tomcat now formally gone, this movie is of mythical reach. The A2A scenes are still top notch, only preceded by the Chevaliers du Ciel (Knights of the Sky).
