Karen Matheson is a great soprano - a Celtic singer (there will be a lot of those in this list). She's able to do both upbeat Celtic tunes that make you want to dance, and slower airs that just take your breath away with their beauty. Songs of note include, "Rithill Aill," "Mi Le M' Uilinn," and "Fac Thu Na Feidh."

Another great one by Capercaillie. "Puirt A Beul" is an upbeat dance-type song, but all of the others vocal songs on this CD are of the "beautiful slow song" variety. Songs of note include "Puirt A Beul," "Soraidh Bhuam Gu Barraidh" (one of my favs of all time), "Am Buachaille Ban," "Ma Theid Mise Tuilleagh," "Urnaigh A 'Bhan-Thigreach," "An Ribhinn Donn"

Another of my favs by Capercaillie. Although this one has a much higher concentration of instrumental tunes than the others. Songs of note include, "Alasdair Mhic Cholla Ghasda," "Fisherman's Dream," "Iain Ghlinn' Cuaich," "Nighean Bhuaidh' Ruadh," and "Oh Mo Dhuthaich."

Beautiful music by Sissel. Music is relatively pop-style (compared to the arias sung in her other albums). Breathtakingly beautiful. Particular songs of note include, "Should it Matter" and "Solitaire."

A very fun CD by Capercaillie. Lots of upbeat Celtic songs in this one. Songs of note include, "Bonaparte" (a very fun song), "Tobar Mhoire," "Four Stone Walls," "Crime Of Passion," "Seice Ruairidh," and "Hi Rim Bo," and "Black Fields."

A good one by Capercaillie. This has a very high concentration of vocal songs (a lot of pop-style songs in this one). Songs of note include, "To The Moon," "Claire In Heaven," "Nil Si I Ngra," "You," "Ailein Duinn" (another fav), and "God's Alibi."
