The New BarbariansThe New Barbarians
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $3.54
This is the mother of all awesomely bad, post-apocolyptic cinema (a larger genre than one might think). If you like bad movies do your self a big favor and see this movie!
Lady TerminatorLady Terminator
Buy new: $22.49 / Used from: $6.84
Never have a seen such an amazing rip-off of any movie. I can't stress enough how hilarious this movie is, right up there with New Barbarians.
Abraxas: Guardian of the UniverseAbraxas: Guardian of the Universe
Buy used from: $0.01
Jesse Ventura as a 10,000 year old bounty hunter searching for a villan who is trying to find the anti-life equation. For as cheap as this one is to purchase, the laughs to dollar ratio should be very high.
Immortal CombatImmortal Combat
Buy used from: $7.29
Roddy Piper and Sonny Chiba in a buddy flick. I don't know if anything else needs to be said.
Sci-FightersSci-Fighters
Buy used from: $3.57
This movie actually isn't half as bad as most of the others on this list. Its actually pretty entertaining, if you can get past the ridiculous costumes, acting, and dialouge.
Happy Hell NightHappy Hell Night
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $3.68
Don't be fooled by the title and bad cover art. This movie is great...in a bad way. And it stars Darrin McGavin (the Dad from A Christmas Story).
Hawk The SlayerHawk The Slayer
Buy new: $24.95 / Used from: $15.87
If knights, giants and awfully excellent 80's special effects are your thing then this movie is for you. And Jack Palance is the bad guy. (Warning: This movie is a little slow at times)
GymkataGymkata
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $19.17
This movie is ASTOUNDINGLY BAD, but also hugely entertaining. Olympic gymnist fights for his life in a martial arts tournament using a combination of gymnastics and karate. It is easily one of my favorites.
Night of the DemonsNight of the Demons
Buy used from: $25.93
An 80s classic in its own right, but still quite bad (in an entertaining way).
The Warrior and the SorceressThe Warrior and the Sorceress
Buy used from: $77.80
A post-apocolyptic, western, remake of Yojimbo..."starring" David Carradine. Wow.
American SamuraiAmerican Samurai
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $1.98
One of the more satisfying terrible action movies I've ever seen.
Hercules/The Adventures of HerculesHercules/The Adventures of Hercules
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $4.09
Its hard to know what to say. These movies are painfully bad, but Lou Ferrigno is still awesome in them. They really border on unwatchable, but are certainly one of a kind.
C.H.U.D.C.H.U.D.
Buy new: $8.99 / Used from: $2.99
No bad movie list can be complete without CHUD. Not that I recommend watching it.
The Ice PiratesThe Ice Pirates
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $3.17
Ususally comedies are not permitted in the so bad its good arena, but this one fits the bill nicely. An 80s classic.
Tourist TrapTourist Trap
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $3.86
Cheesy, fun, and actually kind of scary at some points.
Mirror, Mirror Four-Film CollectionMirror, Mirror Four-Film Collection
Buy used from: $6.48
Four movies worthy of headlining Cinemax Up All Night.
1990: Bronx Warriors1990: Bronx Warriors
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $3.07
The Warriors meets Escape From New York....with a really low budget.
2019 - After the Fall of New York2019 - After the Fall of New York
Buy new: $24.95 / Used from: $5.82
More post-apocolyptic fun.
Alone in the DarkAlone in the Dark
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $0.01
From the acting to the directing, really one of the worst movie to have come out of hollywood in the past 10 years.
FortressFortress
Buy used from: $2.36
Cool sets, cool action...hilarious movie.
House of the DeadHouse of the Dead
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $0.49
Ugh.
Sleepaway CampSleepaway Camp
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $3.73
The only one of the Sleepaway Camp trilogy worth watching (because unlike parts 2 and 3 this movie takes itself seriously, while the others are spoofs). Bad and cheesy with a very memorable ending.
Steel DawnSteel Dawn
Buy used from: $64.94
Kind of boring, but just dumb enough to keep your attention. Also follows a very similar plot to Star Wars Episode One in many ways (except this came about 20 years earlier).
Out for JusticeOut for Justice
Buy new: $5.79 / Used from: $2.33
Steven Segal doing an Italian accent for 90 minutes. Painful, but funny.
Ghosts of Mars (Special Edition)Ghosts of Mars (Special Edition)
Buy new: $9.95 / Used from: $1.14
I hate to put this on here because John Carpenter is easliy my favorite director of all time, but with a character named Desolation Williams and a ship called the Trans Marinara it must be included.
Stone ColdStone Cold
Buy new: $14.98 / Used from: $6.39
I'd been waiting years for this to come to DVD because I missed it in the theater when it came out (early 90's). It was worth the wait.
Ring Around the RosieRing Around the Rosie
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $0.99
This is one of the few newer films to make it onto this list. Tom Sizemore's drunken (I'm assuming) performance should not be missed.
SolarbabiesSolarbabies
Buy new: $12.49 / Used from: $2.60
Another 80s classic with a decent amount of famous people early in their careers. I compare it to Dune, but on rollerskates.
Project: Shadowchaser 3000 / Night Siege - Project: Shadowchaser 2 (Double Feature)Project: Shadowchaser 3000 / Night Siege - Project: Shadowchaser 2 (Double Feature)
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $5.64
This is a great two pack of horrible entertainment. These movies have that nebulus quality of feeling that they were not made in the US, only used American actors. In fact they probably were, but feel like low budget Canadian movies or something. I highly recommend these for the low price.
