The Criterion DVD also includes the epic tv version, which was edited short for film. Incredible and real feeling depiction of marriage from beginning, end and after. It works in part because of subtitles and the way that your brain interprets print. But it's hard to argue with the powerful intensity of this movie. At the same time: Don't be afraid of this movie.

Fake 70s science documentary show. Conceptually brilliant, though sometimes I don't know what they're trying to do. Probably because I wasn't raised in the UK during the 1970s.

The Mighty Boosh are on BBC America, or they should be. This is the series that really hooked me into modern British comedy. This show is awesomely insular and made Julian Barrett and Noel Fielding as actors in the UK.

Everything that you've ever thought about doing has already been done by Monty Python.
