Buy new: $33.75 / Used from: $21.11 Charles Messier was one of the best comet hunters in history. He was frustrated by fuzzy objects that turned out not to be comets. The list of non comets he kept and published turned out to be his ticket to immortality. The fuzzy objects turned out to be star clusters, nemulae, and galaxies. I find myself referring to this book a a reference time and time again.
