Unless you buy whole chickens often, you won't find a use for this cleaver too often, but when you need it, it'll be indispensable.

I prefer these lighter strainers to colanders b/c they're easier to manage, but they don't drain as effectively. It depends on your preference. I prefer having a lighter and easier to use and wash strainer. It gets the job done.

I finally found a measurement equilibrium with this large 4-cup measuring cup along with the stainless steel measuring cups and spoon set. Many soup recipes require 4-8 cups of liquid, so this large cup is ideal for that. For anything smaller, I go to the spoon set.

This affordable set is ideal for apartments. I don't have space for an electric mixer, and I don't really need one. This offers a blender, whisk, chopper, bowl, beaker, and wall mount. They're great if you want to puree soup or foam up milk quickly without using or resorting to a large appliance.

I like this balloon whisk so much better than the standard kind. The ergonomic handle is a plus, but I like how much more secure the whisk is the most.

This is so much better than a nylon slotted spatula. Even though I love my slotted turner, I can't use it to stir like other spatulas, so I bought this. It has a high resistance for heat, is super easy to clean, and very useful.

Teakettles are great for, well, tea and also soups. When the water evaporates, it's best to refill it with water of the same temperature. Hence, the teakettle.

It's cheap, gets stronger over time, and it's virtually unbreakable. You can make anything from pie, bread, cake, eggs, meat, poultry, casseroles, veggie dishes, and everything in between. Stove top and oven proof, but it's not dishwasher safe! And you can't wash it with soap. It's more sanitary than it sounds.

Despite the negative reviews, this is a quality wok made out of carbon steel with 14" in diameter as it's supposed to be. YOU HAVE TO BREAK IT IN! It takes a couple of months. Until then the food sticks, and the wok looks discolored, but it's all part of the process. Use more oil! It's not a hard concept. If you use this properly, any competent chef will tell you that the reactions are normal.

Experts say that you should own a 2-qt, 4-qt, and 8-qt cookware or 3-qt and 7-qt, but most recipes call for a 4-quart pot. Unfortunately, this is a 7-quart, but it's more than adequate. CERAMIC-COATED CAST IRON is amazing! It's refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, stove top, and oven safe. It's so versatile, hence, the price tag. You can make pot roast to stew in here.

The guaranteed way to have a home cooked, healthy meal: a slow cooker. This is a college student's best friend. I don't always have time to cook my own meals and tend to the stove, but if I slice and dice my food ahead of time or I buy pre-sliced stuff, all I do is throw everything in here, and it does all the work.

I use this for oven cooking that requires liquid.

Okay, so not everyone will benefit from a juicer. You have to like it and USE IT to make it a worthy investment. If this is you, get this one. What a yummy treat.
