There's romance, steamy, singe-the-sheets sex, humor and suspense all rolled into this predicable, yet cute little story. You gotta love Mac! He's absolutely insatiable.

The premise was interesting and the characters were well-drawn, but I found the ending a bit anti-climactic. Nonetheless, the story was compelling and worth the read.

This was my first by the Queen of Suspense and it didn't disappoint. I loved the repartee between Nikki and Sam. Even though I guessed who the culprit was, it didn't detract from its suspenseful tone. If you love suspense along with witty dialogue, you'll love this.

A riveting damsel in jeporady tale. If you were to read any book by this author, pick this! The opening chapter starts with a bang: "One afternoon in late spring, Jane Whittaker went to the store for some milk and eggs and forgot who she was." Chock-full of suspense and intrigue,albeit the pacing was a bit too glacial for my taste. But it was excellent nonetheless!

I absolutely LOVE the Jaine Austen mystery series and they're all sublime and funny!! However I found this one to be the funniest. Laugh out loud humor guaranteed. Every single girl can identify with Jaine; she's so down-to-earth and likeable. I wish I had a friend like her. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! The first in the series is Pen For Hire.

I read this after Boy Meets Girl and then found out that this is the first in the trilogy. However, they could all act as a stand-alone. I loved this as much as I loved Boy Meets Girl. This is chic lit at its best.

The Heather Wells mystery trilogy is soo much fun. Murder on campus can whet your apetite for more murder and mayhem. Meg Cabot is a talented novelist. The first two were great, but I was honestly a tad bit disappointed with the third installment because it felt rushed due to perchance a looming deadline. Nevertheless, it was a delightful read.

This is a FUN story with a capital F! You'll be hooked from the first chapter. If you love chic lit and Confessions of a Shopaholic series, then you can't go wrong with this one. Emily has secrets... and then she divulges them all to a complete stranger on a plane. At least, that's who she thought he was at the time.

FUN, FUN, FUN! This author is as witty as they come! if you love Evanovich, you'll totally love this one! And as a quote-aficionado, the quips and quotes at the beginning of every chapter is an added bonus! "You're never out of money till your credit cards are maxed out." lol

Mr Perfect is a "romantic suspense" exemplifed. Excellent read. Jane is one of the most memorable characters I've ever read; she's feisty, vivacious, and witty. Mr Perfect scores a perfect 5.

When I picked this up, I expected a horror-fest instead it was a snooze-fest. Granted, the prose was taut and crisp, but the horror was lackluster and the ending was ludicrious. It's a satirical story since the comparisons to the world's largest retailer, Walmart, are palpable. If you want a rollicking good horror story, try Richard Laymon/Dean Koontz's books.

I don't understand all the hype about this book. Granted, it was undoubtedly better than the movie, albeit Emily Blunt played her role to a T. The book was medicore at best.

Meet the burned-out-nurse-turned-insurance-fraud-PI, Pauline Sokol. Despite her vow never to go anywhere near a thermometer, her assignments invariably require her to be in a clinic. I wasn't all that impressed with the 1st in the series but I promise you it does get better with each new installment. One Dead Under The Cuckoo's Clock is hilarious and you'll fall in love with the enigmatic Jagger.

Ms. Halliday knocked my socks off with her amazing debut! Maddie is a cross between Carrie Bradshaw and Nancy Drew. Life takes a turn to the worse when her boyfriend goes MIA along with $20 million and she's LATE. As if that is bad enough, while trying to find her indisposed boyfriend, she stumbles onto a killer... This is the personfication of a romantic/chick-lit-mystery. LOVED IT!

This book is a winner! An entertaining book about friendship with lotsa laughs sprinkled in between. Andrea is a disgraced socialite who's trying to clear her (unpedigreed, according to her mom) friend's name of murder by trying to get employed in a sleazy diner called "Jugs", much to the dismay of her prim and proper, socialite mother. After all, no deb would ever wear such tawdry outfits..

A humorous and witty mystery. Lois' heroine drips with sass. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good hearty laugh. Her family could give Steph Plum's clan a run for their eccentricity. This is the 4th, so start with Unzipped, the first in the series. Fans of Evanovich take note.

This is a fast-paced, exciting police procedural thriller. It's obvious to the reader that she had done very thorough research. Her prose is reminiscent of Erica Spindler. Crisp. Taut. Never verbose. So if you like Erica, you'll like Danielle. Someone is savagely attacking female cops and the pressure to find the perp crescendos when a female inspector was found murdered - inside the precinct.
