The writing is fresh, the mysteries clever, and Monk's OCD-impaired interactions with the outside world hilarious. You MUST see this show.

Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $7.37 CSI is hugely popular, and for good reason. Although not my favorite crime drama, CSI's highly entertaining depiction of a Las Vegas crime lab's quest to solve the most heinous of crimes is a must see.

Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $13.10 In my opinion, with CSI:Miami, the spin-off has surpassed the parent. With more action, more visually pleasing locations, and with all the factors that made the original CSI such a success present, there's no reason not to check out this superb show. Top marks.

The funny thing is I never watched this show until just about a month ago, but I'm not addicted to it and I place it among my top three shows. Far more then a military-themed CSI, NCIS is a top-notch, action-packed crime drama that never sacrifices the ability to throw a little comic relief in.

Buy new: $43.99 / Used from: $31.46 A good show, though something of a Monk clone. The partnering of James Roday and Dule Hill are one of the big draws of the series. Roday's unique mix of childish antics and 30-something maturity, coupled with the completely different Hill's seriousness, provides quite a few laughs per episode. Check this one out.

The real highlight of the series, besides the superb medical drama backbone, is House's I-don't-give-a-crap attitude. He's mean, he's nasty, and he's unapologetic. It makes for great television
