The boy's voice sort of throws a person off because he sounds like a man. But, the songs are very catchy. They stayed with me for decades (so may this be a warning to you). I do love the sea horse that has a caberat, femininity to him. You don't typically see that in kids films, it's fantastic.

The giant beetles in his movie scared me as a kid. The noise they made as they were on missions to snatch up Geflings was haunting. Brian Froud's character and set designs are eye candy throughout the film. The soundtrack is epic and beautiful.

Like most of my comments, this movie scared me as a child too. Militant rabbits terrorizing other rabbits with rapid scratching attacks, imminent destruction of natural habitats, ravenous hawks and snares in the warren are not joyful adventures for a wide-eyed child to witness rabbits going through. Disclaimer: Animated rabbits were extremely harmed in the making of this film.
