Odd that I this better than others. This album hit me at just the right time. I was obsessed with it for an entire summer. I don't even listen to Frogstomp because just sucks compared to where they are now. This record is simply unbelievable and changed my expectations for music.

Sigur Ros' most cohesive album. Others have better songs but this album is complete and perfect from beginning to end.

In my mind Bloc Party is underrated. I've loved all their records but the debut is just phenomenal from beginning to end. Easily one of the best live bands out there not named Sigur Ros or Explosions In The Sky.

Another album that never gets old. Clark Gable and The District Sleeps Alone are amazing. I honestly would love them to not make another record and leave it to just this.

I love this band. I love everything they've put out. This is my favorite. It's the best pure rock'n'roll record of the decade. These guys make music that could fit in any decade since the 60's sans the 80's.

This record is so lush and well-produced. It's just so good the whole way through. "Fake Empire" is probably the best track 1 of the decade.

The band I listen to more than any other. It's so hard to gauge a post-rock album against albums with vocals that have a different feel. This record is a masterpiece. Every song tells a story. I love it. If I could only listen to 3 albums the rest of my life, all 3 would probably be Explosions albums.

It's so hard to pick a favorite Decemberist album. This one is just too good to ignore. It feels more personal than their other records. Colin Meloys lyrics are brilliant. He habitually tells stories that sound medieval and victorian like he was to meant to be born in another era.

Another band that lives up to the hype. Indie snobs like to refer to this as mainstream somehow. This album is wonderful. The vocal harmonies are beautiful and the folk sounds have a very psychedelic feel to them. My Morning Jacket (way overrated) and Band Of Horses (I love them too) wish they sounded this good.

The most underrated indie band out there. I love how Matt Pond intertwines love songs with metaphors of nature and the baroque pop sound with the cello is awesome. I recommend all their albums.

My favorite Wilco album is Summerteeth but this is a close second. Another band worth the hype.

Mellow, acoustic, ambient, wonderful, lush... It's so good from beginning to end. I don't quite understand why everyone is so hung up on Skinny Love though. "Re: Stacks" and "Blindsided" are simply breathtaking.

I love Jonah Matranga. Every summer I bust this out and listen to it all summer. It's so catchy and good it's got very real earnest lyrics. He pours his heart out in every song.
