some very funny moments in Evil Dead 2 as well (aside: Sam Raimi's earlier short films are all totally goofy three-stooges/Benny Hill style comedies; they're very funny. My friends who I forced them on didn't agree, but they're highly repressed accountant types)

honestly, 2 or 3 is the other good one, but I can't remember which... (yes I do, its 3) just leave the talisman on the vampire, please! Augh! "The Vampire Effect" aka "The Twin Effect" is also good (not really scary though)

... means no! John Landis, if you're out there, I loved SCHLOCK!, or at least the parts you were in. I suppose American Werewolf in London as well, but it really seemed more horrific. (I'll have to watch it again...)

you can call Ed Wood's films awful, but they're still entertaining, and sometimes a few rays of genius shine out of them...

I remember really enjoying this but the amateurishness of it makes me not keen on seeing it again. Offhand, I still think it was a tasteless move to not have little actors for LOTR.
