This is a fabulous concert by the way, with guests Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, The Everly Brothers, Michael McDonald, Mark Knopfler and Willie Nelson. A treasure.

	Chicago Wind by Merle Haggard Buy new: $18.98 / Used from: $6.71 JUST CAN'T SAY GOODBYE. I searched for the song mentioned above, for years to try to find it on CD or vinyl. Finally found it on this 2006 Merle Haggard release.

	Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Deluxe Edition) Buy new: $16.49 / Used from: $6.99 My all-time favorite movie. Not because I see my own father here particularly, but this film of Tennessee William's masterpiece play is so powerfully written, acted and directed that EVERYONE can relate to it. A moving statement about family, love, honesty, integrity and the importance of memories. On my list of INSPIRATIONAL FILMS. (Warning: Adult content).
	Life with Father Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $4.99 William Powell, who was so memorable as detective Nick Charles in the Thin Man series, capped his career with this terrific Oscar-nominated performance. Excellent family movie.
	Evelyn Buy used from: $1.25 A welcome surprise. Pierce Brosnan stars as a dad trying to regain custody of his kids. Sounds like mundane melodrama, and indeed begins as a small human interest film, but builds to be much more profound. Guess that's why it's on my INSPIRATIONAL FILMS list. Directed by Bruce Beresford.
