Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $0.54 While this book hasn't made it onto my list of favorite children/YA lit, it certainly packs a punch. The book tells what it was like for a Navajo man to use the language of his ancestors as a code during WWII. It's ultimately a story of cultural survival and pride. But it's also a great war story for the 12+ crowd.

From what I've heard the Naruto series has built a pretty solid narrative. I'm already looking forward to reading the next one.
