Reynolds plays a formerly dorky guy who was always in love with his best friend, played by Amy Smart. After years he returns to his home town, now much cooler, and tries once more to win her heart. This sweet comedy always makes me laugh and features a cosy, American Christmas.

I've been in love with The O.C. pretty much from the first time I saw the pilot. The writers chose to put a Christmas- sorry, Chrismukkah-episode in each season, and few things raise my Christmas-spirit like watching Seth Cohen's neverending efforts to get everyone in the mood for his Jewish/Christian superholiday.
The Muppet Christmas Carol - Kermit's 50th Anniversary EditionThe Muppet Christmas Carol - Kermit's 50th Anniversary Edition
Buy new: $10.49 / Used from: $10.44
The classic 'A Christmas Carol' is told by the loveable muppets in this must-have movie; The timeless story is told in a heart-warming manner for the whole family to enjoy. It's become a tradition for my roommate and I to watch this every December.
Bam Margera Presents: Where the #$&% is Santa?Bam Margera Presents: Where the #$&% is Santa?
Buy new: $22.49 / Used from: $2.95
This one is on my 'to buy' list and I must admit to not havign seen it yet. I'm sure I'll enjoy it though, being a Jackass, Viva la Bam, Bam's Unholy Union and Haggard fan. Bam and a group of his usually crazy friends head to the Arctic Circle to find Santa Claus.
It's a Wonderful Life (60th Anniversary Edition)It's a Wonderful Life (60th Anniversary Edition)
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $12.66
The Christmas-classic to rule them all is always to be found in my stack of Christmas-movies. An amazing black and white movie about the family man who contemplates suicide, forcing higher forces to show him what the world would look like without him.
The HolidayThe Holiday
Buy new: $7.49 / Used from: $4.93
I saw this movie at our local cinema and was pleasantly surprised; Instead of the too-sweet romantic comedy I expected, it turned out to be a lovely, life-affirming film. Two women, (one from Surrey, England and one from Los Angeles) trades houses for the holidays to break free from their (lack of) lovelives. The humour is more intelligent than most movies and the casting is excellent.
Four ChristmasesFour Christmases
Buy new: $6.99 / Used from: $6.35
Another film that I am dying to see; Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn play a couple who has to visit four different sets of parents on Christmas Day as a result of divorce.
The Nightmare Before Christmas (Special Edition)The Nightmare Before Christmas (Special Edition)
Buy used from: $5.00
At my house it really isn't Christmas (or Halloween) before we've watched this amazing film. Skeleton Jack only knows Halloween and prpares for it all year round, until one day he stumbles across Christmastown and finds out that something has always been missing inside him.

Scrubs (one of my fave TV-shows) has hinted Christmas in most episodes (originally) aired in december, but it's only in seasons 1 and 2 that actual Christmas-themed episodes occur. Season 1's 'My Own Personal Jesus' and Season 2's 'My Best Moment'.

Lunatic Bam Margera created this show as a sort of video-diaryof the preparations for his wedding. In the Christmas-episode 'Flipping the Christmas Bird' Bam and his fiancé Missy take a break from wedding-planning to celebrate nice family Christmas - Margera-style.
