The results hit all the right cylinders. No other TV show has come as close to capturing that feel of a comic book.

Buy new: $11.99 / Used from: $7.68 Running on Cartoon Network from 2003 to 2006 this Japanimation based series could be a little annoying, but if you stuck with it...it eneded up telling some very good stories (about a group of teenagers with super powers) right up 'till the end of it's run.

For some reason WW was place in the 1970's for the rest of it's run falling prey to bad scripts and bad fashion. Ran on ABC and CBS from 1975 to 1979.

Buy new: $40.49 / Used from: $17.00 Police scientist Barry Allen is struck by lighting and gains super speed in this 1990-91 CBS series. The show had a sleek comic feel but found it's stride far two late in it's short life on TV.

Buy new: $14.49 / Used from: $9.19 Running on ABC from 1981 to 1983 The Greatest American Hero told the story of school teacher Ralph Hinkley who is given a super suit by aliens to save the world..only Ralph loses the directions. Never quite lives up to it's potential.
