Luckily the addition of director Lin (Better Luck Tomorrow) and the underground appeal of drift racing (relatively speaking, it's as big as NASCAR, except illegal) injects a little bit of adrenaline into this mess, but not much.

After a Scarlett O'Hara-style search, newcomer Routh was picked to fill out the red and blue tights, and Bosworth trumped a number of other actresses for the role of Lois Lane. Besides this movies is so loaded with themes, we don't feel the need to point them out.

Fox actually sued Sony for copyright infringement (obvious) and unfair competition, as Sony originally schedule Zoom for release two weeks before X-Men 3.

Ellison's attention was focused on the project by his son, David, a trick pilot who stars in the film. This leaves the film without any real actors in the cast, it shows.

Craig of course made matters worse for himself by arriving for the movie's worldwide press day via military boat ... wearing a life preserver. However, his smoldering physicality has won me over and re-engaged the franchise yet again.
