My favorite of the Billy Wilder directed films, this is my favorite classic film of all time. To this day, so many people have never heard of Gloria Swanson. William Holden was great too, this is my favorite role of his.

My favorite Bergman movie ever, one of my all time faves along with Sunset Blvd. This is one of the best thrillers I have ever seen, the acting is amazing on all the roles, Ingrid Bergman, Charles Boyer, and a very young Angela Lansbury. The husband slowly tries to drive the wife to insanity.

What can I say? It is what it is. 'Heres' lookin' at you, kid. Bogies most famous film out of them all, and one of my favorite Bergman films. There is a reason why this movie is consistently at the top of 'best movies of all times' lists along with Gone With The Wind and Citizen Kane.

The first few minutes of this film take away my breath every time I watch this, Bette Davis standing, holding a smoking gun. Just these few minutes of the movie alone are worth seeing. She was at the top of her game in this movie, if you admire her work at all, you should really check this out. William Wyler should not be confused with Billy Wilder, he deserves a lot of credit and respect too.

Is usually tied with Citizen Kane and Casablanca as best movie ever, this film put Vivian Leigh on the map, and rightfully so. Hattie McDaniel won an academy award for her role. She was the first black woman to win an Academy Award for a movie role, she also starred in many other great movies as well.

Audrey Hepburns first lead role in a movie, directed by Wyler, in which she won an academy award. This also stars Gregory Peck, and it is a fun movie to watch. One of the most charming women I like to see in classic movies.

Joan Fontaine is one of the lesser known actresses from those days, but she should have been up there with the best of them. She won the Academy Award for her role. This movie is a great thriller you should not pass up, one of the lesser known Hitchcock films.

An underrated film, Clark Gables very last, and Marliyn Monroe is good in this one. Of course, there have always been the people who said she didn't act, she was just being herself, true for most, but this one is a little different.

Psycho is obviously Hitchcocks most famous movie, even people who don't know who Hitchcock is are familiar with it. An insanely good thriller (pun intended.)

The title of this movie is literally, the women only, there is not a single man in it. Love or hate Joan Crawford, this movie is great. Excellent study of what happens when gossip is passed around. And like the movie, the bad relationship with Shearer carried into real life from what I hear. Also stars Rosalind Russell.

Another good Bette Davis must see, it also stars Henry Fonda.

Deservedly called one of the best comedies ever, stars Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant.

Gregory Peck and Robert Mitchum star in this dramatic thriller, Mitchum to me was up on the scale with Bogart.

Who could forget the pairing of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall? This is my favorite movie starring the pair.

The other charming Hepburn actress. Her most serious movie role, other than Wait Until Dark, though this one has a darker vibe. It came from a Lillian Hellman play with the same title, this movie was controversial, with an impressive role played by Shirley Maclaine.

Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, two of classic films most notorious divas, pitted against one another in a movie together? About an aging alcoholics descent into madness and the torment her sister goes through because of it, classic thriller.

Beautiful, dramatic and depressing film starring Jack Lemmon. This film proves the fact that his acting range was not only limited to comedic roles. Must-see for any fan of his movies.

Just amazing, a classic, dark, film noir, written and directed by Orson Welles. Rita Hayworth and Welles starred in this together, while they were still married. One of my favorite of all of Welles' films, and the famous amusement park scene towards the end is not to be missed.
