![]() | Case Study Houses (Jumbo) by Elizabeth Smith
Buy new: $126.00 / Used from: $119.00 The one and only huge definitive book (check out the weight). It has an excellent pictorial study of each house and that includes a lot of graphic material and you'll see from the book's dimensions that everything is big. I was very impressed with the production but it has to be said that the author's other book (Blueprints, below) has more analysis. LOOK INSIDE.

![]() | Case Study Houses: 1945-1962 by Esther McCoy
Buy new: $20.94 / Used from: $12.61 A reprint of McCoy's 1962 book. Plenty of photos and some plans but unfortunately it is printed on poor quality paper so the images are not as bright as they should be and they have been scanned from the original 1962 book. It is interesting though because it is an overview of the material printed in Arts & Architecture magazine about the houses. LOOK INSIDE.
