A young high school teacher (Dacascos) pledges to straighten out the wayward students of a drug-overrun high school by committing them to the Jamaican martial art capoeira. Directed by Sheldon Lettich ("Double Impact"). Dacascos trained extensively under Mestre Amen Santo to prepare for the film, which remains the only movie to extensively feature capoeira.

Dacascos' first film to premier on TV: a bad guy strying to go straight (Dacascos) becomes smitten with a wealthy girl (Natasha Wagner, "John Carpenter's Vampires") who agrees to go out with him to rebel against her parents. Directed by Mary Lambert ("Pet Semetary" I & II). Also stars María Celedonio ("Freeway 2") and Raymond Cruz ("The Closer").

Dacascos assumed another supporting role in a thriller about an ex-convict who discovers his former girlfriend is a criminal mastermind. Also stars Carol Alt ("Thunder in Paradise") and Dedee Pfeiffer ("Cybil"). Directed by Tibor Takács ("Sabotage", "Sanctuary", "Redline").

In what can be considered Dacascos' breakthrough role, he plays the titular character of Kazuo Koike's gangster manga, directed by Christophe Gans ("Brotherhood of the Wolf") and co-starring Rae Chong ("Commando") and Dacascos' real-life wife Julie Condra. Despite not being released in the US, the film won general acclaim among fans and critics, and Gans a nomination at the Fantasy Film Awards.

A disgraced ex-Navy commando (Dacascos) is assigned to track down the killer of a weapons distributor: the same assassin who led him to his disgraced state (Tony Todd, "The Man From Earth"). Also stars Carrie-Ann Moss ("The Matrix" trilogy) and Graham Greene ("Dances with Wolves").

Often considered one of Dacascos' worst films, he stars as a scientist double-crossed by a colleague (Jürgen Prochnow, "Das Boot") to bring a mysterious and deadly animal back to life as a war machine. Also stars Roger Brown ("The District"). Directed by visual FX pioneer William Mesa ("The Last Samurai").

Dacascos co-stars alongside Rutger Hauer ("Blade Runner") in a sci-fi/action film about a smuggler brought back to life to seek revenge on his double-crossing partner. Also features Yvonne Scio ("Passport to Paris") and Randall Cook ("I, Madman").

A cop (Charlie Sheen, "Platoon"), his partner (Dacascos), and his father (Martin Sheen, "Apocalypse Now") uncover a plot by city elders to smuggle drugs from Mexico into Pheonix, Arizona... Directed by Bret Michaels ("A Letter from Death Row").

An Army major (Dacascos) goes undercover to expose a drug ring within the military. Directed by Mark Lester ("Commando") and co-starring Tim Abell ("Soldier of Fortune, Inc."). The film was shot entirely on a California Air Force base.

Dacascos' most famous and acclaimed film, in which he claims the lethal Native American companion of a French chevalier (Samuel Le Bihan, "Red") sent to rid the Gevaudan province of a mythic beast. Christoph Gans' well-crafted mixture of hitory, action, horror, and fantasy was an international success, winning awards the world over and gaining Dacascos his biggest audience yet.

Dacascos' disaster movie: after a nuclear accident, scientists discover that the earth's tectonic plates are shifting and creating immense pressure that will destroy the earth in a fiery global eruption, and it's up to a few top scientists to find a way to stop it. Also features John Rhys-Davis ("The Lord of the Rings" trilogy) and Mark Rolston ("The Shawshank Redemption").

Mark returns as a co-star to child-star Jordan Garrett ("Death Sentence"), Larry Miller ("Kiss Kiss Bang Bang"), and Angela Watson ("Step by Step") in a family adventure about a kidnapping and art theft on board of a plane.
