![]() | Audition (Uncut Special Edition)
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $6.79 My favorite horror movie of all time at this point. Starts slow, ends breathlessly.
|
![]() | Frailty
Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $1.71 A severely underrated movie in my opinion. Just a very dark movie that is well done.
|
![]() | Ju-On by Kei Ohishi
Buy new: $8.95 / Used from: $0.97 The original "Grudge" movie. I skipped the American remake and if you like the foreign versions, I'd suggest you do the same. This was a very creepy flick.

![]() | The Eye
Buy new: $22.49 / Used from: $10.99 Again, skip the American counterpart. This has a few scenes that haunt you after you watch it.
|
![]() | The Devil's Backbone (Special Edition)
Buy new: $9.49 / Used from: $7.40 This one fits kind of a hybrid of thriller and horror. It's more of a mystery perhaps, but it's my list and I'll deviate as I see fit :)
|
![]() | The Orphanage
Buy new: $7.49 / Used from: $1.49 Just a very tense movie. It's fascinating to watch all the way through.
|
![]() | Event Horizon (Two-Disc Special Collector's Edition)
Buy new: $9.49 / Used from: $6.17 This one will get my dinged, I'm sure. So be it. I went into see a sci-fi kind of flick that looked like it had a few good visual effects and was blown away by the horror movie that showed up instead. The old footage of the previous space crew is worth watching alone.

![]() | In the Mouth of Madness
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $5.19 This one is a bit of a mind (insert proper four letter word here). It almost gets a little too congested, but at least afterward when someone asks "Do you read Sutter Cane" you'll know to run.
|
![]() | Psycho (Collector's Edition)
Buy new: $12.49 / Used from: $8.40 There's a reason this movie has lasted the test of time. It's lost none of it's appeal to me either. Though the real horror is the remake.
|
![]() | Cube
Buy new: $10.49 / Used from: $4.50 I like this one. It's a mix of horror and thriller I guess you would say. I can't say the other subsequent one I watched were worth the time it took. This one has no name actors and delivers well. Just a unique idea.
