![]() | Hi Scores by Boards Of Canada

![]() | Second Toughest in the Infants by Underworld
Buy used from: $12.64 If you're not already familar with this group I think this album is a good starter. It was my first Underworld album and I since fell in love. I have a lot of there other albums but this one takes the cake for me. Its mellow yet upbeat. Tracks 2 & 7 are awesome!

![]() | Duntisbourne Abbots Soulmate Devastation Technique
Buy new: $15.98 / Used from: $4.40 If your a fan of Aphex Twin I'm almost certain you'll enjoy this too! I'm especially found of this album. It has a dark and almost creepy sound to it. It totally fits the whole theme of the cover art. (Finding a dead body out in the middle of a nowhere desert.) Love this album!
Mu-Ziq also goes under the name U-Ziq

![]() | Yesterday Was Dramatic - Today Is OK by Múm
Buy new: $15.98 / Used from: $8.85 This is a neat indytronical (indie/electronica) group from Iceland. Unlike most of their other albums this does'nt feature hardly any vocals. I've heard this album before being compared to early ambient works of Aphex Twin and I must say I do agree with that. Compared to some of Mums other stuff this album is more on the experiemental/electronical side I'd say. Love track 2!

![]() | Project e.l.f. by Project e.l.f.
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $13.00 This album's on the more mellow side. Great beats, soothing, haunting, eerie. If I were carried off by a UFO I'd enjoy listening to this album.

![]() | S.T.R.E.E.T. D.a.D. by Out Hud

|
![]() | Double Figure by Plaid
Buy new: $19.98 / Used from: $7.34 This album reminds me of a party in space. If Aphex Twin took a rocket to the moon to make music for a mellow dance party this would be it.
|
![]() | Sonic Diary - Mixed by Electric Skychurch
Buy new: $12.00 / Used from: $2.92 Except for 1 or 2 songs this is a very mellow album. Very calm and relaxing. This is good for those zen moments.

![]() | Ambient by Moby
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $2.67 Nice down tempo ambient! Some of it almost seems like it wants to be dance music but just cant quite get there. The other half has a airy dream-like feeling to it. I really like this album. Its relaxing and good background music.

![]() | Whole Numbers Play the Basics by Casino Versus Japan
Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $5.46 This has been compared to Boards of Canada, but I don't think I quite get that feel. This albums a bit more spacey and Boards is more subdued. Theres more layers to the beats with these guys.
|
![]() | Start a People by Black Moth Super Rainbow
Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $8.85 This album as a 70s-ish electronical funky feel to it. The vocals are altered and the beats have a playfulness to them. I really like listening to this on a rainy day.

![]() | Booster by Tangerine Dream
Buy new: $16.99 / Used from: $12.99 I'm not all that familar with Tangerine Dream. What I've heard I liked. Its good ambient soundscape music. It almost reminds me of movie scores in some ways.
