Amazing film with equally amazing performance by the late Heath Ledger. This film 'upped-the-ante' from Batman Begins, delivering a compelling crime saga storline with characters of depth, and meticuluously crafted action sequences.

My personal favourite film of all time, i fell in love with the Matrix universe in 1999, for its uber-slick style, perfect framing and visuals, its blend of orchestral score, techno and ghetto beats, its philosophical and religious parallels, and loads of killer action all mixed together in the package of one hell of a good science-fiction story.
