Children deserve to see movies this well made! I loved this movie as a child. One good thing about the Sesame Street movies, is that they contain a very real range of emotion, which is still accessible to children. I used to get so sad during the "I'm a bluebird" song! Beautiful music.

Although E.T. has universal appeal, I would argue that this is a really wonderful movie the young ones, and suitable. Again, it deals with sad and hard themes, yet is very accessible for children. I think I cried at the end of this movie when I was little, but I'm so glad I got to see it.

There are so many little boys at my school who are absolutely enamored of this movie. I think for many of them, these are the first movies they truly love.
