Reservoir Dogs (15th Anniversary)Reservoir Dogs (15th Anniversary)
Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $3.77
This movie might be a rip off of City on Fire, but i don't really give a good god****. Reservoir Dogs will always go down as one of the most violent yet brilliant pieces of work ever to be shown on the silver screen. Tarrentino's script is brilliant and what is even more amazing is that it is his first movie. The acting is top grade , all the actors seem to come up with the performance of lives.
Thriller: They Call Her One EyeThriller: They Call Her One Eye

This movie is where the Q man got his inspiration for the Elle Driver char in Kill Bill. Quentin has went on file to say that this is the roughest revenge flick hes ever seen. Christina Lindberg comes out with an outstanding performance, which is saying a lot because shes a mute in this movie and doesn't say one world the entire time.

Guy Ritchie is England's answer to Quentin Tarantino. In this, his first film, Guy Ritchie shows us that he has everything in his arsenal to make one hell of a good movie. The scene where Gloria wakes up after being unconscious the whole movie is priceless.
The Way of the GunThe Way of the Gun

Totally twisted. The plot is a little weak, but the action sequences and the comedy of Ryan Phillipe and Benicio Del Toro is well worth the watch.

The greatest teen comedy/coming of age story period.
City on FireCity on Fire

Quentin's inspiration for Reservoir Dogs. A great low budget movie that you really don't need to see if you've watched Res Dogs, but still an interesting little gem none the less.
Happy AccidentsHappy Accidents
Buy new: $12.49 / Used from: $3.94
Romantic comedy involving a hot headed girl and a time traveler. Sounds like b-movie cheese doesn't it? Surprisingly enough this is a great film. Ive watched it with girl and guy alike and everyone I've showed it to has loved it.
The Warriors (The Ultimate Director's Cut)The Warriors (The Ultimate Director's Cut)
Buy new: $8.99 / Used from: $3.59
The Warriors is one of the best moves of the 70's and it definitely deserves more recognition than it apparently has. There isn't a single thing in this movie that disappoints, and its never failed to keep me from coming back for more. Labeled as a gang film, i assure you, its much more than that. Great cinematography.

Another classic that people usually tell you to see, and you know what? They couldn't be more right. This movie gave birth to the line "What we have here, is a failure to communicate", and is probably the best rebel without a cause movie ever made. Sorry James Dean, you dead schmuck.
Big Trouble in Little China (Single Disc Edition)Big Trouble in Little China (Single Disc Edition)
Buy new: $8.49 / Used from: $2.74
John Carpenters greatest achievement and one of, if not the, best Kurt Russel films ever made. The style of this film relies heavy on slap stick and exaggeration, which has always reminded me of Robert Rodriguez's style of directing. Rumor has it that Robert Rodriguez actually owns the shirt that Kurt Russel wore in this film.
Tank GirlTank Girl
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $3.53
What do you get when you cross a post apocalyptic world, mutant man kangaroos, and a punk girl with her own tank? A comedy thats a take off of an English comic book, thats what. Iggy Pop plays a pedophile who gets his hand skewered, youll love it.
Army of DarknessArmy of Darkness
Buy used from: $5.35
I love Bruce Campbell, and in the most hetero way possible, i swear. This is the greatest cross between slapstick, witty one liners, and an army of the undead i've ever seen. Ash is an unlikely hero who is obviously an under appreciated genius that actually chooses to work in retail when hes not saving humanity from the deadites.
Four RoomsFour Rooms
Buy new: $12.49 / Used from: $5.89
Quite possibly one of the best comedys ever produced. Four short films about four different rooms in a hotel, four different directors for each segment, and a bell hop played by Tim Roth having a bad night as the setting. Robert Rodriguez's short about the misbehaviors is by far my favorite.
Requiem for a Dream (Director's Cut)Requiem for a Dream (Director's Cut)
Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $3.96
Darren Aronofsky has a keen sense for visualization, and this movie is by far my favorite of his. Ultimately the most depressing movie ive ever seen, its also in my top ten favorite movies of all time.
Boondock Saints (Unrated Special Edition)Boondock Saints (Unrated Special Edition)

I'm scot-irish, so of course i loved this film. Violence, revenge, family, and friends. Four of my favorite things, not to mention Willem Defoe playing a gay transvestite FBI agent. Whats not to like?
Poolhall JunkiesPoolhall Junkies

Get this one for the laughs. The plot is blocky and not very captivating, but it has its own charm that makes it a good movie in its own right.
Shaun of the DeadShaun of the Dead
Buy new: $6.99 / Used from: $3.26
A smash hit romantic comedy with zombies. Says it right on the box. This is really a total guy flick, but I'm not saying that to mean anything by it. Simple film with a lot of laughs.
Swingers (Miramax Collector's Series)Swingers (Miramax Collector's Series)
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $2.21
Total guy movie, but with chick flick qualities. Jon Favreau is really an under appreciated film maker, and this one is by far his best. Its about having fun with your buds while trying to suffer through and get over a break up that happened a year ago.
MementoMemento

Hard as hell to follow at first for some, seeing as how the movie runs from back to front, but still one of my fav movies to watch because I'm always catching something new.
Unbreakable (Two-Disc Vista Series)Unbreakable (Two-Disc Vista Series)

Best M. Night movie. Its all about a real life super hero who doesn't know what he is yet. Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson play hero and villain.
